A collection of my Sea Inspired Mixed Media Textile Art.

There are five different frame sizes to choose from.

15x15, 23x23, 30x40, 50x50,and 96x38 cm 

My 30x40 and 96x38 can be made in both landscape / portrait style

All pieces are original works  of Textile Art 

Each piece is made using a blend of different fibers from wool, silk & linen to metallic leaf, seashells, pearls, beads and other materials. Each piece is made entirely by hand with no felting methods used. I use heat methods, subtle stitching and fabric manipulation techniques. to achieve my desired effect. The use of Colour and attention to detail are key qualities of my work.  I lay out my materials as if it were paint on a canvas and take inspiration from my own photographs, drawings and memories of the Sea. Accents of glass seed beads that resemble pebbles and that of seashells adorn my pieces amongst other media used. in the creation of my work. 

Framed behind glass in a white limed wooden box style picture frame that are manufactured in Ireland. Each piece is made by hand. Frames for my long seascape are custom made and this size is made to order. Stockists usually select works based on their preference of Colour from seascapes to sunsets  for example deep blues, sea green/aquamarine to reds/purples etc.. Pieces can be created with or without shells.  

Customers can request custom titles for commissioned pieces, for example the name of a beach or place name. 

Due to the nature of my materials and methods used, some slight differences will occur as no two pieces are exactly alike.
