- Mixed Media Textile Artwork - Dawn over the Horizon
- Made using the finest merino wools, silk, linen, seashells and beads amongst other specialist textile fabrics and mediums.
- This piece is not hand /wet felted or made using a felt needle - other methods are used to create my desired effect.
- My artwork has been mistaken for paintings from a distance as I apply my materials in a 3D painterly way but in fact is all made using textile materials and yarns.
- Framed inside a white deep edge box style, Irish made picture frame (by strand framing) and framed by myself. The piece is framed behind glass to protect the delicate materials used in the piece, with a metal picture hook on the back.
- Dimensions are 500x500mm or 50 x50cm square.
- Colours in the piece are sky blue, white, a mix of deep and ocean blues with hints of pale sand tones, pale orange, golden yellow and a deep green.
- Mount board is Polar white.
